Meet Our Staff

alec-mayer

Alec Mayer

Alec wears many hats here at Lakeview. In early spring he oversees our entire greenhouse production range and as the season progresses he moves out with his crops to oversee the entire store.
Alec has an unusual story here at Lakeview, because no one can remember ever hiring him! Our own urban legend has Alec, who lived just down the road from our Lunenburg store just showing up one day in our greenhouse range. At the time Alec was too young to work, but that didn’t stop him from coming to the greenhouses after school. A new staff person who didn’t know Alec was the pesky kid next door thought he had been hired as after school help and began putting Alec to work with our potting crew.  Alec himself doesn’t remember how long he “volunteered” with us, but he stayed and for over 15 years now plays a critical role in our company.

Angela

Angela Noe

Sargent Noe is what we call her! We weren’t Angela’s first choice for a career, in fact she wanted to join the Marines but a serious injury in Basic Training sent her straight to us! Beyond the years of experience working at Lakeview, Angela has a solid background in horticulture as a graduate of the Essex Agricultural School (affectionately known as Essex Aggie). You can rest assured that Angela’s plant and garden advice is grounded in both a solid education and years of “on the job” learning!

Beyond her professionalism Angela brings laughter and a genuine love of plants and gardening to her job. She is the engine that drives our energy and enthusiasm here at Lakeview. She is the next generation of Lakeview who loves the stories, history and community that built the current company.
